I can’t hear the difference between opus, flac, ogg, aac, ape etc.
mp3 is the only one that stands out significantly, the rest are completely interchangeable to me.
That’s why, on the keyboard side, I haven’t switched to workman or colemak or whatever. I’m still on dvorak, which I started using before those other layouts were invented. That’s fine, since qwerty (a.k.a. sholes) is the one that stands out significantly (as worse).
At some point there’s diminishing returns.
This is also relevant for the whole “good vs perfect” discussion. How much better can you get? If the answer is “a lot better” then yeah, it’s probably worth it, but otherwise… you can 80/20 your way through life!
