We’ve been playing a lot of D&D over XMPP lately and I found an old dice bot that still worked great!
I added in advantage and disadvantage and we’ve been using it for a few weeks. I also added in support for arbitrary expressions.
In my version, you no longer have to type :roll v3d6, instead it
just listens in on the text chat and when it reads you mention any
dice expressions, it rolls them for you. Otherwise it stays quiet.
Like, if you say you deal 2d8+3d6 slashing and 1d4 poison, it can handle that.
