Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow

Last night as I was lying in bed I was thinking “wait, wasn’t there some book I was reading that I wanted to continue?” and that thought made me happy but then I became sad because I remembered that I already had finished it that morning. Reading this was a mistake because it was so much better than all the, I dunno, eighteen or nineteen other books I’m currently reading and now I almost don’t wanna go back to them.

Yes, it is very derivative of True Grit so if you’ve ever wanted to read a version of True Grit that’s actually good, well, here you are.

Except for the copaganda ending which I didn’t like (I oppose prisons, and the Phantom Zone is a nightmarish version of that), this was a fantastic read.

You really get to feel that you’re Supergirl’s friend on this long odyssey through space. The pacing and scope is masterful. This beats any other novel in the areas this is good at.
